Fynd.ai is a classifieds marketplace. This policy explains what the app collects, why, and what you can do about it. It covers the Android app and the website at fyndai.web.app.

What we collect

Data	Why
Email address	To create and sign in to your account.
Name and profile photo	Shown to people you buy from or sell to.
Phone number and location, if you enter them	Shown on your listings so buyers can reach you. Both are optional and you control whether they are visible.
Listings you post — photos, description, price, location	To display them in the marketplace.
Messages, and any photos, files, voice notes, locations or contact details you send in them	To deliver them to the person you are talking to.
Photos and voice recordings you give to AI search	Sent to Google's Gemini API to work out what you are looking for. Not stored by us afterwards.
Identity documents you choose to upload	Stored against your account only. They are not inspected or verified, and are visible to nobody but you.
Saved searches and favourites	To alert you when a matching listing appears.
Recent search phrases	Only if you turn on "Personalize Using History". Turning it off deletes what was kept.
Device notification token	To send push notifications. Removed when you sign out.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your data and we do not share it with advertisers.

Other users see your name, photo, listings, and any phone number or location you chose to show. Your privacy settings control this.
Google Firebase stores your data and runs authentication, the database, file storage and notifications on our behalf.
Google Gemini receives the text, photo or voice clip you give to AI search, and the photos and description of a listing you publish, in order to answer.
Google Maps Platform receives what you type into a location field to suggest places.

Security

All traffic is encrypted in transit with HTTPS. Identity documents are stored so that only your own account can read them. Messages and listings are readable only by their participants and, for listings, by people browsing the marketplace.

Your choices

Privacy settings — Settings → Privacy lets you hide your phone number, your online status, and your profile from other users.
Notification settings — Settings → Notifications controls what we send you, and Push Notifications turns device alerts off entirely.
Delete your account — Settings → Delete Account removes your listings, alerts, favourites, notifications, uploaded documents and profile, then closes the account. Conversations you took part in stay with the other person, because deleting them would remove half of their transcript.

Children

Fynd.ai is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.
